Dear Sponsors and friends of Children‘s Nest,
We are are very must shocked. Children‘s Nest Trust became the victim of an arson attack. The Blue House has been destroyed completely. The insidence happened on 10th April 2012 close to 6 pm. In the meanwhile it is nearly 100% proven that it was a case of arson and the investigations are still ongoing.
The children from the blue house are now provisionally accommodated in houses 1 and 2. But for all the children of the orphanage, nothing is as it was last week.

In the past, there were constant shortages in the area of accommodation for the volunteers. The situation was exacerbated by the fact that we need even more space for our children.

  Children's Nest regularly receives good clothes, learning materials and toys for the children. In recent weeks, a true mountain has piled up. We send these packages to the orphanage on the availability of financial resources.
The costs for shipping a parcel, depending on the size be between 26 € and 113 €.

Thank you for visiting us at Children's Nest. You are most welcome and we are pleased that you developed interest in the different kinds of work at our organisation. From most of the people on this earth a tradegy is ongoing in the Southern part of Africa and every year many thousands of persons are dying, Mainly due to HIV and AIDS related.
